Hi there!

Welcome to GoGo. We'll send you a few "getting started" emails over the next few days to bring you up to speed on common questions and the mission of our company.

The Gazette is the main way we share company news with you! If you have something you'd like to share, please email cassy@gogograndparent.com.

We’re available 24/7 The operators are passionately dedicated "Professional Grandchildren".

It's not mandatory to have a cell phone to use GoGoGrandparent, but if you don't have one, be sure to tell us when you register and a Professional Grandchild will help you figure out the best option.

Did you know?

We can ask Lyft's or Uber's drivers to help you with collapsable wheelchairs, rollators, walkers, canes and more. Here is one of our clients Ursula M. as she prepares to embark on her trip. Her Lyft driver, Bhawanvir Singh, places her walker into his trunk as they get set to leave her Palo Alto home for her various appointments. Ursula's story was originally featured in the San Francisco Chronicle(Photo: Michael Macor, The Chronicle)

Let us know if you have a service animal! Lyft and other companies are required to allow service animals to join you on your adventure. We recommend simply bringing a towel for them to lay on to keep the cars fur-free. If your pet is not a service animal but you would still like to bring them along, we can ask your driver. Simply let the operator know to annotate your account.

Meet Betty (she started this whole thing)

Betty started GoGoGrandparent! This whole thing was her idea.

Her grandson showed up at her door after college and she took him in for three years.

On a Sunday night over dinner after discussing his most recent failed project the conversation turned to transportation. Betty wanted to use Uber, but was uncomfortable with the idea of managing drivers she didn't know..

When told that there wasn't really a better way to do it she admonished: "Well, you should make that."

We took her advice! On January 4th, 2016 Betty took her first ride to and from CoCo's diner. She started taking rides everywhere and pretty soon one of her friends called her a 'Go Go Grandma'. The rest is history!

On behalf of all of us, thank you so much for your interest in GoGoGrandparent. Please take a note from Betty's book and tell us if there is ever anything we can do to help.

She also said her drivers were incredible, both arriving within 5 minutes, taking the shortest route and assisting her in and out of the car. The second driver, that picked her up from the funeral, parked in an area so that she did not have to use the stairs. Both drivers made sure that she got in safely. She could not be happier with her experience, from the operators that answered her calls to the drivers that showed up. "You are worth every penny, and more.
